MY LOVE FOR GOWNS

My love for gowns started ever since I was a lil' girl watching cartoons of  Snow White and Cinderella wearing those beautiful gowns. It literally took me off  to a fairy land. I dreamt often wearing gowns and a prince would come and sweep me off my feet. Unfortunately I didn't find my Prince Charming in my dream world. But glad I found him now ;) Anyways I was thinking if ever I become a designer I would love to make few of these :) These are my inspirational designer gowns. I love the colors. So elegant and graceful! Happy viewing! :P

DIY - BOW TIE

Hello everyone,

I know its been long I posted on my blog, now I'm back with few wedding DIYs :)
Sometimes it's difficult to get bow tie of your exact wedding color theme. My problem was solved by my friend Anita, who made the bow ties for my wedding. You can also try these easy steps to make a bow tie in 10 minutes.

Things you require:

1. Fabric
2. Scissors
3. Elastic
4. Needle/ thread

Step 1:

Cut the fabric according to the size of your bow tie

Step 2:

Fold them as shown below

Step 3:

Stitch the folded fabric so that it doesn't fall apart

Step 4:

Use another fabric to make the mid-piece of the bow tie and bind it with the elastic.

Step 5:

Bind them together as shown

Your bow tie is all read now :)
