ANNOUNCING… MY FIRST BOOK!

Where do I begin? As you may have guessed by the lack of posts, it has been a busy, busy month. I have some big news to announce today… And here it is.

Last month I submitted my manuscript for my first book! Yes, it’s really happening! (yaaay…loud screaming)!

Stories of Faith Hope Love, a book where I have shared my life stories and have asked few of my friends to also share their stories. I’ve been asked when I will come up with a book  for years, but it never felt like the right time. Well, now is the time, this is the hour, this is the moment I have waited forever!

Sneak-peek of the cover of my book - Stories of FAITH HOPE LOVE

I’ve been whittling, refining, improving, and polishing for months, and with the help of my dad, who waved his magical wand and edited the whole thing into a totally new book. It has been mixed and matched, shaken and stirred, and it’s now the perfect introduction to Stories of Faith Hope Love.

To say I’m beside myself with excitement and anticipation is an understatement of the century! Now that the grueling edits have been done, we’re moving onto the intoxicating task of making it look really pretty. I want to give you something gorgeous to hold, so of course I have been designing it. All glory to God!

This is a thrilling process, and I’ll be sharing sneak peeks right here on my blog while Stories of Faith Hope Love becomes a real, live book.

And of course, if you will be the first to know when the book is released, just follow me on my blog!

I am so amped, and can’t wait to share this very special project with you!

Tons of love,
Grace!

CHRISTIAN ONE LINERS

Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil, it has no point

What really counts in life is the dash between date born - date died on the tombstone!

Many Christians have stopped being fishers of men and are now only keepers of the aquarium.

You don't stop laughing when you get old, you get old when you stop laughing!

"Dusty Bibles lead to Dirty Lives"

"In the dark? Follow the Son."

A smile is curved line which sets a lot of things straight.

If you are born once, you shall die twice, but if you are born twice, you die only once.

Some preachers should put more fire in their sermons, and some sermons in the fire.

Prevent 'Sin burn' by using 'Son Screen'.

The best mathematical equation I have ever seen: 1 cross + 3 nails= 4 given.

We don't change the message, the message changes us.

We were called to be witnesses, not lawyers or judges.

Man's way leads to a hopeless end - God's way leads to an endless hope

Every Christian occupies some kind of a pulpit and preaches some kind of a sermon every day.

No person is so poor that he can not give a compliment.

"This is a ch_ _ ch. What is missing?"

Humility is so shy, that if you begin talking about it, it disappears.

Delayed obedience is brother to disobedience.

Dear God, I have a problem, it's Me.

When we get tangled up in our problems, be still, so God can untangle the knot.

Either the Bible will keep you away from sin, or sin will keep you away from the Bible!

Do you wake up in the morning and say, "Good morning, Lord," or "Good Lord, it's morning."?

God gave us two ears and one mouth, so listen twice as much as you speak.

If you talk the talk, then walk the walk.

WHEN I AM WEAK, YOU ARE STRONG

I'm so glad to introduced my guest blogger today who is none other than the love of my life, my husband. He sent me this on an email this morning. I am so blessed and I can't help but share it with you.

This is something that I understood this week, and wanted to share it with you.

For the past 27years, I have always considered myself very strong and resistant to sickness. I rarely fell sick and even if i do I would carry out my activities as usual and people would be surprised, looking at how could someone who is sick be so normal and the answer I used to give people was "I AM STRONG" and no where did i include God in there.

I suffered from Typhoid a couple of months back and even that could not be keep me down for long, i got back up in 3 days and started working, where as I have seen people with typhoid including my friends be down for over 10 days, and when people used to ask me how come you are back and the answer i gave was "I AM STRONG"

I fell sick on November 8th, yet still rode the bike for 350 Kms the next day and returned back to bangalore on 11th, and when my friends asked me how are you able to do it, the answer i gave was "I AM STRONG".

Through all this, Grace used to always remind me that you are not strong on your own, but by Gods Grace you are strong. I did accept it always but when people asked me i somehow forget that and I kept boasting that " I AM STRONG".

Today as I am writing this i have been sick for one week now with viral fever, where others would be cured in 3 days. My strength and resistivity towards sickness is of no use, I never put God first when i was cured and i believe that this sickness is to teach me that a lesson that "ONLY THROUGH GOD CAN I BE STRONG AND NOW THAT I DECREASE HE MAY INCREASE".

I am still sick, but I do believe that I will be fine through Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ for "WHEN I AM WEAK, THEN I AM STRONG".

AMEN and please pray for me.

MOVE NOW

This video can give you goosebumps. This is so powerful, I have been listening to this like a million times.

The phrase that stuck with me was:

We’re moving. We’re moving. We’re moving. We’re moving from death to life. We’re moving from darkness to light. We’re moving from defeat to victory tonight. Somebody’s crossing over from shame to grace tonight. Somebody’s moving from fear to faith tonight. Jump up on your feet. Somebody’s moving from sorrow to joy tonight.

Move! Now! Move! Now! Move! Now! From dread to expectation. From bondage to freedom. From mourning to dancing. Now! Now! Now! Now lift your hands He’s here! Lift your hands He’s here! We can’t stay here! We gotta go! We gotta go! We gotta church to keep! We gotta God to serve! We gotta gospel to preach! We got broken hearts to find! We got hurting people to heal. Come on move church. Move! We’re not waiting on a move of God! We are a move of God! Come on and shout! Now! Now! Now!

How many believe mountains still move? How many believe God still reigns? Our father who art in heaven hallow it be thy name! Your kingdom come! Your will be done! HERE AND NOW!

Watch below:

ON THE MOUNTAIN, IT SHALL BE PROVIDED

For those of you who know me have been hearing about our house renovation like forever. Yup, finaaaaaallllly our house is completed and we have moved in. Btw ALL ARE WELCOME to drop in whenever you can. Our doors are open! Like literally open all the time (Coz we usually don’t lock our house). J

And guess what we named our house “MT MORIAH”! Sounds familiar isn’t it. Yes, it’s a Biblical name which I’m super fond off.  Mainly coz it’s taken from one of my most favorite stories of the Bible which is the story of Abraham and Isaac.

Picture captured at the entrance of our house

We all know that when Abraham obeyed God and was ready to sacrifice His son, God stopped him. It was on Mt Moriah that Abraham named the place, “God provides”.  Literally God provided us this house hence the name. And it was the on the same mountain where King Solomon built a temple in the Bible. Btw Solomon and I also wish to make our house a place of worship.

Going back to Abraham’s story, it’s the same place where we get the saying, “ON THE MOUNTAIN, IT SHALL BE PROVIDED”. The word “Mountain” in talking terms usually refers to some stumbling block in life or a difficult situation. So when Abraham obeyed God, He provided for him.  I believe God can provide whatever you are wanting today if we obey Him and if it is aligned to His will. Whatever mountain that you are facing today, God will be your provider, on the mountain!

DIY - BOTTLE DECOR

Bottle makes excellent home decors. The best part is you can get any color you need to match with your interiors. Bottle painting is a fun idea to recycle trash. Because I had too much of turquoise paint, I decided to paint the glass bottles. Otherwise seeing dry bottles of paint always makes me sad. So here is what I have done!

Things you will need:

- Empty glass bottles
- Paint colors (Turquoise and white)
- Cello tapes (Golden)
- Paint brush
- Newspapers

Step 1: Take few bottles and paint them fully and let them dry.

Step 2: Secure these bottles with cello tap to make a striped design.

Step 3: Make sure you have them all it the same striped design to match your bottles.

Your bottle decor is now ready. Place it on a shelf or a TV unit.
