LET GO

Someone once said, “If you let go a little, you will have a little peace. If you let go a lot, you will have a lot of peace.” It would be so much simpler and more enjoyable if we learned to just release certain limitations.

I was pondering on THREE THINGS TO LET GO off:

1. LET GO WORDS

Too many people say too many thing knowingly or unknowingly which might hurt you a wee bit. At the end of the day when you lie on your bed, these words seem to rewind on your mind. Eventually it builds up. The next time you see the person you kinda feel uneasy. Yes, this is a symptom that you need to let go off words spoken.“Life becomes easier when you learn to accept an apology you never got.”

I guess some people spoke hurting words and made fun of Noah while he was building the ark. I'm sure Noah just let go of words spoken by them. He might have just ignored and kept his peace.

2. LET GO THINGS/ JOB

All of us have our favourite things which we can't live without on this earth. For example, a teenager might say I cant live without my cell phone. My friend once said I can't live without eating Non-vegetarian food. May be some would say I cant live without a cup of coffee. We are all addicted to something or the other.

When Jesus called Peter & Andrew, they immediately they left the boat and followed Him.( Matthew 4:20). Peter & Andrew let go off their net(fishing) which was their job.

3. LET GO PEOPLE

Some people are very dear to us. And we just can't live without them. God gives and sometimes takes away people from our lives. Also God sometimes tests us if we love people more or we love Him more.

In Genesis 22 we see that Abraham loved Isaac so much. When God asks Him to give away his only son. He obeyed God. He let go of Isaac. But God is so good that sometime He even gives them back to us. Just like God gave Isaac back to Abraham.

Letting go doesn't always mean we are strong but it's an action of trusting God. Knowing that God is in control. Knowing that God knows the best. God knows what He is doing.

I hope that today we will let go off words spoken, let go off things and let to off people when we have to.
