DIY- 3 AFFORDABLE ANNIVERSARY GIFT IDEAS

Solomon and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary, yaaay!...So this time I decided to do something handmade. Expressing your love in the form of a gift can be tricky. The best (and fortunately most affordable) way to show your partner how much you care about him/her is by taking the time to think of and create a homemade anniversary gift. While some people like to stick with more traditional gifts for their wedding anniversary, these anniversary gifts are perfect for every year. Take the time to show your love with these creative DIY anniversary gifts.

Here are 3 anniversary gifts that I made:

1. Couple Tee shirts

You can make a cute customized couple t-shits which reads like this:

2. String of pictures

I collected all the pictures we had taken together for the past 2 years and made a sting of pictures on the wall. Few serial lights would do the magic.

3. Wall frame

Here is the easiest. Get few statistics of your anniversary. Calculate the number of days, months, years... and get a printout done and frame it:

2 Years, 24 months, 104 weeks, 730 days, 17,527 hours, 1,051,620 minutes, 63,097,200 seconds, and life time to go...

DIY - WALL FRAME

Well, my M M turned 50!!! yaaay...half century! Isn't that wonderful. Besides giving her a big gift, I also wanted to make some thing creative. So I made a wall frame with "50 reasons why we love her". You can also make that for your loved ones the same.

Here is how I made it:

Step 1: 

I wrote down the list of Reasons why I love mom and typed it. You can find my list here.

Step 2:

If you have an editing tool like Photoshop, type the letter 50 and fill the text (50 reason) inside the letter. Make sure you leave some space around the text.

PS: Here is a tutorial on how to fill the text inside text.

Step 3:

Type the title "FABULOUS 50 MOM" or "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" or "50 REASONS WE LOVE YOU". Put in a design border of your own choice.

Step 4:

Print the design and pick up a frame of your choice. I gave mine to a shop near by to get it framed.

This is how I wanted it to look like on our lavender wall:

But I had to trim the borders to make the text more visible. I'm happy either ways!
