TOO SERIOUS TOO SOON

Too serious too soon
I gave away my heart
Too serious too soon
Was so into you that I forgot the world around
Everything around me was music without sound
May be I was too serious too soon

Too serious too soon
I stumbled when others ran
Too serious too soon
Stuck between my plans and the faith I follow
Could I be risking it or should I just let go?
May be I was too serious too soon

Too serious too soon
I discovered True Light
Too serious too soon
Despite heart wrenching storms of life
I hear whispers of joy and echoes of hope

May be I was too serious too soon

WAIT FOR HOPE TO APPEAR

It's a Good Thing to Hope for Help from God.

Lamentations 3:19-33 MSG

19-21 I remember it all—oh, how well I remember— the feeling of hitting the bottom. But there's one other thing I remember, and remembering, I keep a grip on hope:
22-24 God's loyal love couldn't have run out, His merciful love couldn't have dried up. They're created new every morning. How great Your faithfulness! I'm sticking with God (I say it over and over). He's all I've got left.
25-27 God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits, to the woman who diligently seeks. It's a good thing to quietly hope, quietly hope for help from God. It's a good thing when you're young to stick it out through the hard times.
28-30 When life is heavy and hard to take, go off by yourself. Enter the silence. Bow in prayer. Don't ask questions: Wait for hope to appear. Don't run from trouble. Take it full-face. The "worst" is never the worst.
31-33 Why? Because the Master won't ever walk out and fail to return. If he works severely, he also works tenderly. His stockpiles of loyal love are immense. He takes no pleasure in making life hard, in throwing roadblocks in the way

I WAITED TO HEAR FROM U

Sometimes we get so busy and stressed that we forget to take a moment to breath, exhale, and talk to GOD! We run around throughout the day rushing from here to there, stressing over this and that, not realizing that just one word with God can turn it all around. Here’s a little something I found while perusing the internet. I hope it touches you as it touched me...

When Was The Last Time You Talked To God?

My Friend,

As you got up I watched and hoped you would talk

to me. Just a few words, such as thanking me for
something good in your life yesterday or last
week, would do.

But I noticed you were busy selecting the right

clothes for work. I waited again to hear from you.
When you ran around the house collecting papers,
I knew there would be a few minutes to stop and
say hello, but you never slowed down.

I wanted to tell you that I could help you

accomplish more than you ever dreamed possible
if you would just spend some of each day with me.
At one point you waited fifteen minutes in a chair
with nothing to do. I waited to hear from you.

Then I saw you spring to your feet; I thought

you wanted to talk to me, but you ran to the
phone and called a friend. I watched as off
to work you went and waited patiently all day
long to hear from you. With all your activities
you were too busy to talk with me.

I noticed at lunch you looked around; maybe you

just felt embarrassed to talk to me. You glanced
three tables over and noticed some of your friends
talking to me before they ate, but you wouldn’t.

There was still more time left, and I hoped that we

would talk. You went home and had many things to do.
After they were done, you turned on the TV; just
about anything goes there and you spend many hours
watching. I waited as you continued watching TV and
ate your meal but again you wouldn’t talk to me.

At bedtime you were totally tired. After you said

good night to your family you plopped into bed and
fell asleep. I had so much wanted to be part of your
day. We could have had so much fun and accomplished
so much together.

I love you so much that I wait everyday for a thought,

prayer or thanks. Well, maybe tomorrow! I’ll be waiting.

Your Friend,

God

OPEN LETTER TO MILEY CYRUS

Genuinely the most refreshing thing I’ve read on this subject. Especially the more unusual Christian response of not preaching scripture for once. The world needs more Christians demonstrating love like this. I'm so touched by this letter so sharing it here.

I think This Is What Jesus Would Do ….

An open letter to Miley Cyrus from Pastor Jarrid Wilson below:

Dear Miley Cyrus,

I first want to say how sorry I am for the way Christians are treating you, tweeting you, and hypocritically judging you for your performance at the VMA’s. While most of the world sits back and wonders “What the heck happened to Miley?” I personally wonder, “What’s going on in Miley’s heart?”

I cannot say I enjoyed your performance, but I can say I my heart breaks for you, your future, and your identity as a woman.
There are so many things I don’t know about you, but something tells me that you are going through more than you are willing to share with the people around you. I can’t imagine being surrounded by the paparazzi 24/7, living in the shadow of your dad, and constantly being asked, “What happened to that sweet girl from Hannah Montana?”

I get it, you’re an adult now. You don’t want to be forever viewed as the Child-Star from Disney Channel. But I can promise you that this isn’t the way to break that mold.

A Few Things:
1. You deserve to be respected.
2. You deserve to be treated like a lady.
3. You deserve a man who will treat you with honor.

But the current lifestyle you are living will make it very hard for you to find any of these things. I say this because I care about you, even though I have never met you. You have a platform that is beyond grasp, and I believe your potential to use it for good is unmeasurable.
I’m not going throw any scripture at you. I’m not going to tell you how wrong you are. And I’m not going to tell you that you need Jesus.

Why?

Because frankly, I think you already know all of these things.
You’re a smart girl who has found herself caught up in the world of entertainment. I assume it’s rough. I can’t imagine being constantly surrounded by drugs, sex and alcohol. And I can’t imagine the peer pressure you must feel from labels, managers, and other artists around the world pressuring you to be something you’re not.

I’m here to tell you: YOU DON’T NEED TO LISTEN TO THEM. You are allowed to make your own decisions, and quite frankly this might be the first time anyone has ever told you that.
Regardless of what the tabloids say, my wife and I still believe in you, and will always show an open hand of grace and second chances.

-Jarrid Wilson

PSALM 77

I yell out to my God, I yell with all my might,
I yell at the top of my lungs. He listens.
 2-6 I found myself in trouble and went looking for my Lord;
my life was an open wound that wouldn’t heal.
When friends said, “Everything will turn out all right,”
I didn’t believe a word they said.
I remember God—and shake my head.
I bow my head—then wring my hands.
I’m awake all night—not a wink of sleep;
I can’t even say what’s bothering me.
I go over the days one by one,
I ponder the years gone by.
I strum my lute all through the night,
wondering how to get my life together. 7-10 Will the Lord walk off and leave us for good?
Will he never smile again?
Is his love worn threadbare?
Has his salvation promise burned out?
Has God forgotten his manners?
Has he angrily stalked off and left us?
“Just my luck,” I said. “The High God goes out of business
just the moment I need him.”
11-12 Once again I’ll go over what God has done,
lay out on the table the ancient wonders;
I’ll ponder all the things you’ve accomplished,
and give a long, loving look at your acts. 13-15 O God! Your way is holy!
No god is great like God!
You’re the God who makes things happen;

you showed everyone what you can do—
You pulled your people out of the worst kind of trouble,
rescued the children of Jacob and Joseph. 16-19 Ocean saw you in action, God,
saw you and trembled with fear;
Deep Ocean was scared to death.
Clouds belched buckets of rain,
Sky exploded with thunder,
your arrows flashing this way and that.
From Whirlwind came your thundering voice,
Lightning exposed the world,
Earth reeled and rocked.
You strode right through Ocean,
walked straight through roaring Ocean,
but nobody saw you come or go. 20 Hidden in the hands of Moses and Aaron,
You led your people like a flock of sheep.

15 THINGS TO MAKE UR DAY BETTER

We all have those days… Those boring days where you so DO NOT know what to do.  But don’t fear, if you want to feel better right now, there are little things to do that will improve you day! These are the things I do personally whenever I’m feeling down:

1. Sing your song : Listen or sing your favorite song. Find the karaoke on youtube or pick up your guitar and play your songs. Recording is fun too :-)

2. Enter the pool: Time to dip into the water. Jump into the pool or may be sit by the lake. Admire the waves. If it's raining, get wet in the rain :-)

3. Time for a makeover: Get a cool hair cut. It just makes my day. Get your nails done. Or may be a face clean up or a head massage. It feels so awesome :-)

4. Look cute: Get that favorite dress of yours out and wear it. Admire your self in the mirror. May be take a few pic of yourself. You will feel good :-)

5. Pamper your face: There's nothing wrong to put on some bold make up. Experiment your face with some dark lipstick and get that smoky eye make up which you always admired :-) If you are a guy reading this, SKIP :-)

6. Picture time: Get out the old album and go through all the funny pictures. Pictures where you feel your best, and pictures that have your favorite people and memories always put you in a better mood.

7. Call your funny friend: We all have some friends who are really funny. Every time you talk to them, you know that they will always make you feel better. Some friends are blessed with good sense of humor! :-)

8. Eat that food you have been craving for: Go ahead and have any and all of your favorite food and snack. Because today is, "Eat What You Want Day" :-)

9. Laugh out Loud: Sounds simple. But laughing at my favorite shows, movies, or people is the best. Whoever said laughter is the best medicine knew what was up.

10. Shopping: If you are a girl just like me, find out where there is a sale and run there. Who knows you might get a good deal. SHOP till you DROP!  :-)

11. Dance like nobody's watching: Play your favorite dance beat. Put the volume up. Jump, turn, bend, fall, dance your heart out :-)

12. Update your diary: Recall all the funny moments and write them down. Read the previous pages. I have this habit of writing some funny moments in my diary. It makes me smile :-)

13.Drink a cup of hot coffee: Whoever invented the coffee did an awesome job. Coffee is the best drink ever. Seriously any-day! :-)

14. Dig into your closet: You wont believe you might find something new which you have never worn. May be something which was out dated when you bot it would be the trend now. You never know :-)

15. Listen to Joel Osteen: This one is the best. No matter how bad your day is, one sermon of Joel Osteen can just lift your spirit. I can bet you on it :-)

ROMANS 5:5

Hope That Does Not Disappoint

God has his amazing way of talking to me. I was hoping for a confirmation from God regarding something. And God just speaks right to my heart. I am so blessed to read this. I know I have read Romans 5:5 many times but today it came afresh to me. God's word is alive. It speaks, it pierces and it enlightens. It gives life.

Romans 5:5 "Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us."

Today, we express hope as if we can’t be sure what will really happen. We say, “I hope I will win that prize. I hope it won’t rain tomorrow. I hope everything works out well.”

But “hope” in the Bible is a confident and positive expectation of good. God wants you to have a confident expectation of good because as His child, He favors you. Because Christ is in you, the hope of glory (Colossians1:27), you can expect the glory of God to shine into every area of your life, including your family, job, ministry, health and finances!

God’s Word says, “Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” You may have experienced disappointed hopes, but there is a hope that does not disappoint when you are conscious of how much God loves you. It is a hope that springs from the heart of God, who loves you very much.

It is interesting that the first mention of the Holy Spirit in the book of Romans is tied up with the love of God. The book of Romans is considered foundational for Christians. Could it be that the first thing the Holy Spirit wants to do is to establish in our hearts that God loves us? Many people think that the Holy Spirit has come to teach us about power. But the truth is that the Holy Spirit has come not to reveal the love for power, but the power of love!

My friend, you may have just lost your job. But if you can say, “Jesus loves me this I know,” you can also say, “I believe that I will get a better job tomorrow.” Your girlfriend may have just left you for your best friend. But because you can say, “Jesus loves me this I know,” you can also say, “I’ll meet a better girl.”

When you believe that God loves you, you will have a positive expectation of good. You will have a hope that does not disappoint. So be careful what you hope for because you are bound to get it!

TOO MUCH TO BEAR

"How do you know when how much is too much? Too much too soon. Too much information. Too much fun. Too much love. Too much to ask... And when is it all just too much to bear?"

Here again I have ripped my own heart
Unbearable pain from the sharp dart
Got up to leave but just right fell in
Bruised and shattered deep within
…And when it’s too much too bear

Guilt stricken, disturbed with heavy load
Tears crash onto the floor of life’s road
Enduring this war of continuous regrets
Negative voices have become my threats
…And when it’s too much too bear

Groping in the dark to find a ray of hope
I rage in frustration beyond I can cope
I can hardly breathe; barely surviving
Trying so hard to escape from drowning
…And when it’s too much too bear

I’m not strong; I stumble when others run
Mostly all by myself; conversing with none
Millions of memories they rush and come
To that part of me which is dead and numb
…And when it’s too much too bear

And my heart cries, I wait for pain to melt
Surrendering all at the cross I have knelt
Gathering the pieces of my heart I bring
To You my Master, my Saviour, my King

…And when it’s too much too bear
He bears my burden

FAILURE

Go ahead. Fail. Just do it. Fall flat on your face. Let it happen. And hey! If you want, cry. Let it all out. But whatever you do, DON’T forget to get back up on your feet at sometime. And when you do, wipe all the mud and tears off your face and remember that you are that much stronger then before and that we ALL have to taste dirt at some point.

I LOOK TO YOU

As I lay me down,
Heaven hear me now.
I'm lost without a cause
After giving it my all.
Winter storms have come
And darkened my sun.
After all that I've been through
Who on earth can I turn to?
I look to you.
I look to you.
After all my strength is gone,
In you I can be strong
I look to you.
I look to you.
And when melodies are gone,
In you I hear a song.
I look to you.
About to lose my breathe,
There's no more fighting left,
Sinking to rise no more,
Searching for that open door.
And every road that I've taken
Lead to my regret.
And I don't know if I'm going to make it.
Nothing to do but lift my head
I look to you.
I look to you.
After all my strength is gone,
In you I can be strong
I look to you.
I look to you.
And when melodies are gone,
In you I hear a song.
I look to you.
My levees are broken
My walls have come
Tumbling down on me
The rain is falling.
Defeat is calling.
I need you to set me free.
Take me far away from the battle.
I need you.
Shine on me.
I look to you.
I look to you.
After all my strength is gone,
In you I can be strong
I look to you.
I look to you.
And when melodies are gone,
In you I hear a song.
I look to you.

WHEN GOD RAN

The only time I ever saw Him run
Was when He ran to me, He took me in His arms
Held my head to His chest, said “My son’s come home again”
Lifted my face, wiped the tears from my eyes
With forgiveness in His voice He said,
“Son do you know I still love you?”
He caught me by surprise when God ran

The day I left home I knew I’d broken His heart
And I wondered then if things could ever be the same
Then one night I remembered His love for me
And down that dusty road ahead I could see
It was the only time – it was the only time I ever saw Him run

I was so ashamed, all alone and so far away
But now I know He’s been waiting for this day

I saw Him run to me, He took me in His arms
Held my head to His chest, said “My son’s come home again”
Lifted my face, wiped the tears from my eyes
With forgiveness in His voice I felt His love for me again

MIRACLES OUT OF MISTAKES

A negative past cannot disqualify you from a bright future

No mistake you have done is too much for the mercy of God

Self pity will keep you from what God's gonna do for you

God is not looking for perfect people, but someone who has a heart for God

God's calling are irrevocable, keep the faith

God always gives us anther chance

God is telling you I STILL have a plan for you

Nothing you have done in your past can disqualify you from the bright future God has for you

The debt has already been paid, receive God's mercy

God is not a fault finder

God,I blew it up but I need your help

God is not focused on your mistakes

You are the apple of God's eyes

Where you are is not a surprise to God

Nobody or nothing can stop you from what God has for you

God cleans up our mess since he sees our heart even though

Zep 3:19 God is gathering together the outcast and the limping ones

You take one step towards God He will come running towards you

Bird with a broken wing will fly twice as higher

DADDY I LOVE U

I haven't been posting anything these days. May be a bit lazy.  But this video just caught my attention. This is my favorite video off late. Every time I see it I cry. I love every line in this video.

I just love my dad too much. I cry every time I think of the love that we share. As I write this blog I'm reminded of all the lil things he does to make me happy. He never wants a drop of tear to come from my eye. Dad, how can I tell you how much I love you. I want to express my love to you. I respect you. I honor you. I am sooooooooooooo proud to be your daughter. Lord Jesus, thank you for my dad. I mean it from the bottom of my heart.

Daddy I love you!

YOU ARE...

This is for you ...yes, it's you :)

You are with me
When I open my eyes each dawn
You are with me
As my thoughts on you are drawn
You are with me
In every first and last yawn

You are with me
When my path is narrow
You are with me
Like a shadow to follow
You are with me
Like a strong bow and arrow

You are with me
When it's raining and cold
You are with me
When I need a hand to hold
You are with me
When my dreams they unfold

You are with me
When my heart sings
You are with me
Your voice in my ear rings
You are with me
I can fly without wings

You are with me
Even when I don't talk
You are with me
Like a strong rock
You are with me
In every single walk

You are with me
For ever all the way
You are with me
strong come what may
You are with me
Like a hope of ray

You are with me
As I calculate each day
You are with me
In every talk I convey
You are with me
As I look back yesterday

You are with me
In every breathe I take
You are with me
In every plan I make
You are with me
As long as I am awake

HELPLESS

Can God be so direct in speaking to me? The answer is YES!!! This is so what I wanted to hear from God:

I have had people tell me, “Please pray for me. I can’t see a way out of the mess I am in. I know that this whole thing is my fault. Right now, I don’t even know whether God will hear my prayers.”

If you think about it, a whole lot of our troubles are of our own making. But it is when we deserve the punishment and not the blessing that we can receive grace — the undeserved favor and unmerited help of God!

When we stop trying to be deserving of God’s help, we find God more than willing to be our Savior. But when we continue to try to work things out, we are trying to be our own saviors. God will say, “Save yourself because I can’t help you when you don’t need My help.”

You might be thinking, “But, don’t you know, God helps those who help themselves?”

Contrary to popular belief, this saying that “God helps those who help themselves” is not in the Bible! God does not help those who help themselves. He helps those who are helpless and dependent on Him. He helps those who look to Him as their only source of help for their problem.

If you say, “My problem is that I am weak.” God says, “That is not a problem. I am your strength.” If you say, “Lord, my face is the problem. I am ugly.” God says, “My face will shine on yours. I am your glory.” If you say, “Lord, I am the problem. I am a nobody.” God says, “I will make you a somebody.”

Unfortunately, many of us are still trying to help ourselves, thinking that for certain matters, we don’t really need God. But God says, “Without Me, you can do nothing.” (John 15:5) Do we really believe that? Or do we believe that without Him, we can still do some things to help ourselves?

Only when we realize that we can do nothing, and are nothing in and of ourselves, can we do all things through Christ who strengthens us! (Philippians 4:13) Then, we will see the undeserved, unmerited help and favor of God deliver us from every evil!

God Helps The Helpless!!!

Psalm 63:7
Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.

DARK IS BEAUTIFUL

Very often I feel very depressed about my skin complexion especially when I live in a racist country like India. Most people consider fair skinned-girls as extremely gorgeous while the darker complexion girls like me are just average or even less than that. Popular definition for a beautiful girl is often quoted as "fair" in many matrimonial sites. Many times I thought that if I was fair I would be married by now or if I was fair people would have liked me and stuff. I always wondered why God made my skin so dark while the 2 beautiful ladies in my house (my mom and my sister) are fair.

But then Psalm 139 says, "I am marvelously made". When God made me, He made no mistakes. He thought I was perfect. He made no mistake with the way He designed my appearance, my skin tone, my height, my weight, my face and with all that He gave a lovely touch with a beautiful smile. I'm guessing after creating me He must have smiled at me and said, "You are a master piece, Grace!" :-) (The same for you) This morning I was reading the Song of Solomon and it says God( the Bridegroom) choose the dark women among so many women. Wow! That encouraged me. God has His own way of speaking to me through His word. It makes me admire His beautiful creation. Some of the most beautiful women of earth are dark skinned. And indeed GOD MAKES NO MISTAKES!!!

PS: This blog is dedicated to beautiful dark-skinned girls who have low self esteem of themselves :) Please remember DARK IS BEAUTIFUL

When God Does It, It’s Perfect!

A friend of mine emailed this to me and it was so encouraging. I'm so blessed to know the truth from God's word. I tried handling lot of things myself along with God. But it was all in vain so I decided to lay ALL my plans and ALL my desire on the alter. Like how Abraham climbed Mount Moriah to lay down Issac just like that I have climbed Mount Moriah lot of times but it's gonna be different this time coz I'm laying it ALL on the alter. This time I want God ALONE to plan. By faith I declare that when When God Does It, It’s Perfect! I hope it blesses you as well. Here it goes:

Once as a young child, I came across a shrub with gorgeous flowers. When I discovered a budding flower among the fully opened ones, I thought that it would be a great idea to help it blossom. So I tried to peel open the petals one by one…and bit by bit, the flower became undone as the petals were torn off in my little hands. I had begun with good intentions, but killed the poor flower in the end!

My friend, when it comes to our areas of concern, our human efforts to solve our problems, despite the best of intentions, cannot produce results that are as beautiful as if we were to allow God’s wisdom and timing to do it. It’s when we rest from our self-efforts and struggles to solve our problems, and allow God to work in us and through us, that we see divine results.
I’ve often said this: If God wants all the glory, then allow Him to do all the work. God loves it when you look to and lean on Him alone. In heaven, it’s, “Worthy is the Lamb,” and not, “Worthy is the Lamb…and me.”

Beloved, stop trying to make it all happen through your own strength and wisdom. Cease from trying and start trusting the Lord. Let Him work in and through you to overcome your challenges, accomplish your dreams and fulfill His plans and purposes for your life. When God does it with His incomparable wisdom, power and timing, it can only be perfect!

…it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
Philippians 2:13

YES, IS IN MY FUTURE

This is one of the most favourite messages I have heard from Joel Osteen. I will hear this message over and over again coz YES IS IN MY FUTURE!

All of God's promises are YES and AMEN!

Every NO  means you are simply one step closer to your YES!

When God has put that promise in you He had already planned for you.

Even thought you have had 1000 NO's ,would you still trust God for an YES!

Faith causes God to move! You are in it to win it.

GOD IS ABLE

We dream our dreams
We prepare our plans
But God out dreams us every time!
And out plans us every time!
God's dreams are zillion zillion times above and beyond anything we could  ever dream for ourselves.

I say let's live His dream!

Well, I've noticed that when God desires something, He takes responsibility for it and provides for it. He was gracious enough provide me bike without borrowing any money from anyone. His money wasn't wasted in loans and interest rates and stuff like that in getting me a new bike. On top of that, He surprised me (just because He felt like it) with an awesome promise for this new year from Ephesians 3:20 which says , Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that at work in us

This verse kinda got a whole new dimension to my faith life. If we use that as a basis for understanding Ephesians 3:20, the possibilities are mind-blowing. Think about it. We don't know the depth and breadth or the scope of the things that we don't know. Our imaginations are restricted by the boundaries of our knowledge. This has to make you shout out loud with joy that we serve a God that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above anything we can ask or THINK. "Exceedingly abundantly above"? That phrase ventures boldly into the realm of the unknown. This is the God we serve. He can work in ways we don't even know how to ask Him to work because He works in ways that surpass our intellect, understanding and imagination. God Himself declares that His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are higher than ours (Is. 55:8).

If we are mindful of that, then we will be able to trust God and that He will work in on our behalf in ways that are far past finding out. No situation is too hopeless for God to reach into and bring His transforming grace!
As we go through this year, let us covenant together to make sure that we don't limit Almighty God to work within the boundaries of our understanding and imagination. Our God is the God of “immeasurably more!”

Heavenly Father, I believe You can do immeasurably more in me.
Please give me eyes to see the immeasurably more you want to do through me!
In Jesus Name
Amen!
