I'M SORRY

"I'M SORRY" is a magic word. It does wonders but it's quite sad that we don't realize it. At the end of each day, it's good to ask yourself if your conscious is clear.

Few questions I can ask myself is:

Is there something that is bothering me?
Did I do something wrong?
Did I hurt anyone?
Did I SIN in anyway?
Did I not do something that I was supposed to?
What if today is my last day?

Last night I was asking few of these questions and I did realize that I had to forgive people. Those that hurt me and those that spoke ill of me, I forgive you.

If you are reading this blog and feel that I have hurt you. I'M SORRY.

YEAR OF FAITH

I just realize that 2016 was gone! Gosh! It was super fast. When did it begin and when did it end?
I looked at the calendar this morning and I couldn't believe that it was February already! I have been incredibly busy with work and travel. 2017 has been a cold start ( I mean the weather is extremely cold). I have been enjoying the Swedish winter coz it's has been my first snow experience although I have been to Europe few times.

As I have done in the past, I have chosen a word/phrase/verse to focus on for the year. Or, rather, I should say that God chose one for me. Last year I had pondered on "Hope - the anchor" and the year before it was, "Love is patient" then it was "Let go" and so on.

It was on the 31st of December when I remember asking God to give me a verse/ word for the year. That night we read the daily devotion from 2 Corinthians 5:7 which says,"For we walk by FAITH, not by sight!". The word FAITH stood out to me. While praying I said "Lord thank you that, this year is going to be a Year of Faith". Sunday at Church the preacher was speaking from Romans 10:17 which says "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." FAITH again!

I constantly keep hearing something about FAITH. I knew deep in my heart that this year will be my year of FAITH. Even today I was listening to a sermon and the Preacher quoted that "FAITH is the confidence that God's timing is perfect!". God was re-assuring me that I need to live by FAITH this year!

And it brings me to the purpose for this post in the first place. Sorry it took me so long to get here! The journey of life can't be walked by sight. That is my temptation...daily...to look with my eyes and not see my dreams being fulfilled or even close to it. I feel anxious. I don't see the big picture. And as God always does in His Word, He tells us to walk by faith. To walk trusting in Him not what our finite eyes can see. I need this verse before me everyday, as a reminder that God knows everything and all I need to do is trust Him, believe Him and walk with Him. Simply and obediently!

Would you join me in this faith walk?

PS: If tattoos were allowed, I would want to get this one:)

Few FAITH points to ponder:

When you speak faith, you’re in agreement with God

If we’re not saying anything, we’re not releasing our faith

Make a declaration of faith by saying, “This is going to be a great day. I have God’s favor."

Faith is what pleases God.

Faith moves mountains.

Our faith gives God something to work with.

You’ll grow strong in faith as you give glory to God

If you’ll stay in faith, you will see God begin to open up a new route

If you stay in faith, then God will turn what was meant to be a stumbling block into a stepping stone

Rise up in faith and receive the good things He has in store for you!

Let your faith say, “Thank You.”

Feed your faith by meditating on His Word and fill your heart and mind with God’s promises
